Mr. Ramdas Mapari has spent more than 30 years working in the seed industry. His career started with Sandoz Seeds (1993), then moved to Novartis Seeds and Syngenta India — companies known worldwide for their high standards in hybrid seed production. Working with these organisations gave him deep knowledge of how quality seed production should be done.
Mr. Mapari’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2010 with the establishment of Painganga Krushi Vikas Kendra, which gave him firsthand insight into the seed industry and its evolving needs. Backed by this experience and over three decades of expertise from global seed companies, he founded Painganga Seeds Pvt. Ltd. in 2016 in Lonar, Maharashtra — with a clear focus on delivering world-class hybrid seed production.
He continues to be closely involved in the day-to-day work of the company, guiding the team and ensuring that quality remains at the centre of everything Painganga Seeds does
